Improper functioning of battery systems installed in utilities, power plants, telecommunication systems, industrial applications and etc., can cause severe failures of the supported equipment and loss of critical information. Therefore the battery systems are ought to be tested in order to verify their actual SOC (State of Charge) or SOH (State of Health) and to prevent unwanted scenarios which could result in significant budget loss as well as endanger of human lives.
DV Power battery testing equipment is able to perform the following battery measurements, using BLU and BVR devices:
All of the above mentioned measurements are performed with the highest accuracy. The advanced DV-B Win PC software enables collecting both numerical and graphical results. These features provide easier and more efficient analysis. After the test a test report is generated with a single click. The report can be easily customized and saved in different formats, such as XLS, PDF, Word, or RTF format.

Making a product “safe” requires an understanding of the “hazards” that exist in each electrical product. Electrical shock is one of the four fundamental hazards which must be evaluated as part of any product safety evaluation. Even though a product requires an electrical power source and uses electrical or electronic components, it should not present an electrical shock hazard to the user. Electrical shock hazards can be prevented by performing the Ground Bond or Earth Continuity tests. This test is carried out under high current, simulating a fault to earth. The standard requires that the resistance between protective earth and any conductive surface on the equipment does not exceed 0,1 Ohm. The test is performed by applying an DC current between the conductive surface and protective earth. The resistance is calculated by measuring the voltage drop. RMO60E and RMO100E are ideal for testing the protective bonding (grounding) of equipment following the standard IEC 61010-1. Applying current up to the value of 60 A / 100 A and the ability to provide in the Contin menu (continuous operation) test current for the pre-set test duration (equal or exceeding 1 min) – gives an user possibility to easily check the protective bonding/grounding of the equipment. The full load voltage of 12V assures that the measurement is executed properly and that the result obtained (pass fail classification) is accurate.

About
RMO instruments are based on state of the art technology, using the most advanced switch mode technique available today. With over 15 Years in designing and manufacturing Micro Ohmmeters, DV Power has established wide range with 16 portable and 3 handheld models of high-precision micro ohmmeters. The range includes a number of portable testers designed for use in tough environments, ideal for use in test facility or out in the field. To complement the range of units we also have all the accessories you could ever need, ranging from cable clamps to remote control units.
The units are rugged yet compact while maintaining accurate low resistance measurements. RMO generates a true (ripple free) DC current with automatically regulated test ramps. During the test RMO ramps with increasing current before measuring and decreasing current after the measurement. This approach significantly reduces magnetic transients. We grant a number of key advantages to our customers:

Winding Ohmmeters RMO-M series are specially designed for winding resistance measurement of inductive test objects such as electrical motors and generators. RMO-M series instruments generate true DC ripple free current with automatically regulated measurement and discharge process. Test instruments are portable and enclosed in metal casing. Applications supported by DV Power motor/generator test equipment include:
All of the above mentioned measurements are performed with the highest accuracy. The advanced DV-Win PC software enables collecting both numerical and graphical results. These features provide easier and more efficient analysis. After the test a test report is generated with a single click. The report can be easily customized and saved in different formats, such as XLS and PDF.

DV Power test instruments perform various diagnostic tests on power and instrument transformers. Condition assessment on On Load Tap Changers is the unique specialty feature. Test instruments are portable and enclosed in durable metal cases. The 19” rack mounted version suitable for factories is available as well. Applications supported by DV Power transformer test equipment include:
All of the above mentioned measurements are performed with the highest accuracy. The advanced DV-Win PC software enables collecting both numerical and graphical results. These features provide easier and more efficient analysis. After the test a test report is generated with a single click. The report can be easily customized and saved in different formats, such as XLS and PDF. The analysis of On Load Tap Changers is performed by the new method called dynamic resistance measurement (DRM). This is a non-intrusive method and allows detecting problems in On Load Tap Changers without disassembling them.
